DIY Fitting Guides

Vinyl tiles and planks are the perfect alternative to traditional hard flooring. They’re easy to clean, incredibly versatile and super easy to maintain and replace.

Turn off any underfloor heating 24 hours before installation.
Ensure the floor underneath is clean, dry and free of debris.
Make sure your tiles/planks are all present and correct.
Get all the tools you need plus an adhesive if you’re using one.
Working from left to right of the room, with the joint tongue facing the starting wall.
Click each tile/plank into place by sliding tongue of next piece into groove at 45°.
Gently drop down flat to lock the joint into place.
To cut edge pieces to shape, score carefully with a sharp knife and snap.

Turn off any underfloor heating 24 hours before installation.
Ensure the floor underneath is clean, dry and free of debris.
Make sure your tiles/planks are all present and correct.
Get all the tools you need plus an adhesive if you’re using one.
Spread your adhesive over the subfloor and leave to go tacky for 30 minutes.
Lay each tile/plank directly onto the adhesive, butting next to each other.
To cut edge pieces to shape, score carefully with a sharp knife and snap.
Leave to dry fully before walking on your new floor.
