If you're wondering WTF stair nosings are, don't worry, we've done the homework so you don't have to. Also called 'treads', stair nosings are handy pieces of metal placed snugly over the edge of stairs to make them super sturdy.

You'll mostly see them in commercial and public spaces because people don't tend to want such hard edges on the steps in their homes. They're there to shield against disaster by making the edge of each step easier to see and less slippery, as well as giving a sharp, polished finish.

Stair nosings are suitable for use with vinyl and carpet, and supplied in lengths of 3.225m, but if you need a specific length, just let us know what you need cutting and we'll do our best Edward Scissorhands impression.
