Carpet tiles
Step 1 – Prep the Floor
Make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and smooth. Ditch any old flooring and check your new tiles are all there and undamaged.
Step 2 – Grab Your Gear
You’ll need a utility knife, straight edge, chalk line and adhesive or tacifier – unless you're loose laying.
Step 3 – Let Tiles Chill
Leave your tiles in the room for up to 48 hours to acclimatise. They need a breather.
Step 4 – Kill the Heat
If using adhesive, turn off underfloor heating 48 hours before. Never lay tiles over heating above 27°C or oily concrete.
