About the Morleys SN13
Ensure optimal step safety and a clean finish with the Morleys SN13 aluminium stair nosings. These hard-wearing profiles are a key product in the Morleys Standard Stair Nosing Range, offering the perfect solution for protecting and defining steps in various commercial environments, public spaces, and areas with high foot traffic. Commonly known as stair treads or stair edgings, their reliable function is paramount for safety compliance and floor protection.
The aluminium SN13 nosing is engineered for use with thinner, smooth floor finishes. It features a single-channel rake-back, ramp-back profile with a specific 3.5mm gauge. This design is ideally suited for securing and finishing installations involving Vinyl, LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile), wood, and other hard flooring solutions, providing a smooth ramped transition down to the floor covering. It is also suitable for use with exterior-grade inserts for added versatility.
Constructed from a strong aluminium alloy, the SN13 provides a resilient shield against constant high footfall and abrasive wear. It is expertly engineered to significantly prolong the lifespan of vinyl and hard flooring solutions by defending the vulnerable leading edge of the step from premature damage. Crucially, the nosing incorporates a channel for a slip-resistant insert, which dramatically reduce the risk of accidents and ensures a dependable anti-slip surface. This profile delivers a clean, secure, and highly professional architectural finish to your commercial stairs.
This essential stair nosing is supplied in standard lengths of 3.22m. To ensure maximum convenience and project efficiency, we proudly offer a free Cut to Size service. To utilize this, simply provide your required measurements and dimensions in the Special Instructions box at checkout, and we will accurately prepare your aluminium stair treads perfectly sized for immediate installation, saving you valuable time and labour on-site.
