Mosaic Clubhouse

Mosaic Clubhouse is a charity based in Brixton that supports adults living with mental health challenges across Lambeth, helping members build confidence, connection and routine through community activity, education and employment support. With over 360 members relying on the space every year, the flooring needed to be as resilient as the community it serves — so the charity brought DCTUK in to refresh it.

The Products

For the refit, we specified Nouveau Basics carpet tiles in Black Graphite Stripe. Nouveau Basics is one of our most popular ranges for exactly this kind of project: a low-level loop pile that's stain-resistant and easy to keep clean, built to handle daily footfall in busy community and commercial spaces without stretching the budget. The Black Graphite Stripe colourway gave the space a smart, neutral finish that's practical for a high-use charity setting.

The Installation

Our specialist fitting team carried out a full uplift and disposal of the existing worn carpet tiles, before preparing the subfloor with levelling compound and primer to create a smooth, stable base. New Nouveau Basics carpet tiles were then fitted across the space, finished with cap and cove skirting for a neat, durable edge. The whole installation was completed in a single day to keep disruption to Mosaic Clubhouse's members and daily programme to an absolute minimum.

The Outcome

Around 200m² of hard-wearing new carpet tile flooring, delivered with minimal downtime for a charity that couldn't afford to close its doors. Mosaic Clubhouse confirmed the finished space was excellent — giving members and staff a refreshed, resilient floor built to keep up with the busy day-to-day life of the Clubhouse.
