Arsenal FC Emirates Stadium

When one of London's most iconic football grounds needed a flooring revamp, they didn't mess about—and neither did we! Our specialist fitting team was recently deployed to The Arsenal Stadium (yes, The Emirates!) to tackle a truly massive project.

We installed a staggering 980 square metres of the durable Altro Illustra - Bedrock LU2412. That's almost a kilometre of high-performance vinyl!

For an area that size, the groundwork has to be impeccable. Our fitters managed 808 square metres of total subfloor preparation, treating it like the critical pitch it is:

• Subfloor Full Screed and Subfloor Prime before screed were executed across the entire area.

• We used 240 bags of Ardex Arditex NA (Bag & Bottle)—that's a serious amount of levelling compound!

• A further 4 bags of Ardex Feather Finish (11kg) were deployed for a flawlessly smooth surface, sealed perfectly with 23 tubs of ARDEX P 4 Primer (8kg).

Once the subfloor was absolutely spot-on, we moved onto the main event: 808 square metres of Specialist Fitting - Straight Lay Vinyl. We secured the flooring using 23 tubs of Bostik STIX H900 RESIST+ (which is serious adhesive, by the way) and finished the joints professionally with 13 packs of Altro Weld Rod.

Finally, for the seamless look and to manage all the transitions in a high-traffic environment, we installed 11 Gradus SCSM474 2.5m transitions, using 4 tubes of Flexy Fix Adhesive for a flawless finish.

From the complex screeding to the final perfect weld, this project proves our fitting service is not just brilliant—it's match-fit for the biggest venues in the country. We even threw in a Specialist Fitting - Day Rate just to ensure the final bits were managed perfectly!
