About Interface Crafted Connections - Thread Lightly
Thread Lightly is a rich weave that mixes woven textures, boucle tweeds and batik styles. Its 18 colourways come as pure neutrals or neutrals with a subtle accent thread, such as Ash/Sage or Jetty/Rust.
The pile is 100% recycled solution-dyed nylon, so colours stay true and resist stains and fading, on Interface's CQuestBio backing. Total recycled content is 82.2%, embodied carbon is just 2.58kg CO2e/m², and the 25dB impact sound reduction helps keep footfall noise down.
Each tile is 50cm x 50cm, 6.5mm thick with a 2.8mm pile, rated Class 33 heavy contract and Bfl-s1 for fire. It's approved for continuous castor chair use and backed by a 15 year warranty.
Interface recommends a monolithic, quarter turn, ashlar or brick layout. It's also optimised for glue-free installation with TacTiles connectors. Individual tiles lift out if one ever needs replacing.
