About Interface Overedge Carpet Planks
Overedge is a soft shag cut pile texture that recalls a woven rug, in a graphic black and white. It's a sister design to Darning, Decibel and Haptic, and the most tactile of the four.
The pile is 100% recycled solution-dyed nylon, so colours stay true and resist stains and fading, on Interface's CQuestBio backing. Total recycled content is 84.7%, embodied carbon is 5.21kg CO2e/m², and the 30dB impact sound reduction helps keep footfall noise down.
Each plank is 25cm x 1m, 11.6mm thick with an 8.9mm pile, rated Class 32 general contract and Cfl-s1 for fire. It's approved for continuous castor chair use and backed by a 15 year warranty.
Interface recommends an ashlar or herringbone layout. It's also optimised for glue-free installation with TacTiles connectors. Individual planks lift out if one ever needs replacing.
