If the last project was wizardry, this one was a full-blown renovation epic. Our fitters have been busy bees, transforming a whopping 280 square metres with top-tier materials and zero fuss.

The star of the show was the flooring itself: Altro XpressLay Adhesive-Free - Lupin. Getting that much flooring down requires a rock-solid base, which is where the real graft began.

Our subfloor specialists went all out, tackling the floor prep like champions. We called in 59 packs of Bostik Screedmaster SL C540 Flow (that's a lot of bags and bottles!) alongside 9 bags of Quick Set Concrete to create a perfectly level foundation. We then sealed the deal with 4 bottles of Bostik Screedmaster A526 Universal Primer (5kg).

For the final perfect smoothing, we deployed 3 bags of Ardex Feather Finish (11kg), added some serious reinforcement with 2 bags of Ardex ArduRapid A45 (11kg), and even used 5 packs of 6mm Plywood - SP101 where needed.

Once the groundwork was flawless, we made sure the actual flooring was locked down tight, using 5 tubs of Bostik STIX A300 Multi Floor (12kg) and keeping it neat and tidy with 1 roll of Bostik Roll Adhesive Tape - 25mm. Finally, for that professional finish and to ensure safety, we welded the joints with 2 packs of Altro Weld Rod and used 1 x 25m coil of Quantum QT320 Flexible PVC Bevel Transition Strip - Black to transition between areas smoothly.
