Kents Property
New carpet tiles across 278m² and 14 stairs in Farnham for Kents Property, fitted over a single weekend.
Kents Property asked us to replace the worn carpet tiles across Units 6 and 7 in Farnham. The job covered around 278m² of floor space plus the staircase, and the units needed to be ready to use again as quickly as possible.
We surveyed the site in September to confirm measurements and check the subfloor. The units have a timber subfloor, which was in good enough condition that once the old tiles were up, our fitters could lay the new floor directly on top without extra preparation.
The old carpet tiles were uplifted and cleared into a skip arranged by the client, keeping the job simple and the site tidy. We then laid new commercial carpet tiles throughout, fixed with tackifier so any individual tile can be lifted and replaced later if it gets damaged. On the stairs, we took up the old carpet and refitted all 14 steps so the finish carries through from floor to floor.
The installation was completed over the weekend of 27 and 28 September 2025, keeping disruption to a minimum, and the project was signed off in early October.
It's a straightforward but satisfying kind of job: a large area turned around quickly, with the stairs included, and everything from uplift to final fit handled by one team.
