Cybex Pram Centre

DCTUK's fitting team carried out a 188m² flooring installation across Cybex's Glasgow showroom over two days in January 2026. The project was surveyed by DCTUK Fitter Grant in December 2025, allowing the team to plan the installation precisely and ensure materials arrived on site ahead of schedule.

The main floor area — measuring approximately 7.9m × 23m — was fitted with Heuga 725 carpet tiles in Real Black, delivered in a straight-lay installation pattern. The Heuga 725 is a trusted commercial carpet tile, highly durable and well-suited to a busy retail environment, while the Real Black colourway gives the space a sleek, contemporary feel that complements Cybex's premium brand identity.

The entrance area received Nouveau matting in Anthracite, providing a practical and stylish transition zone at the threshold — essential for a high-traffic retail entrance, particularly in a Scottish climate.

Subfloor preparation included feathering across the main area to ensure a smooth, level surface before installation — key to achieving a professional result with carpet tiles. The team also managed furniture movement on site, working around the client's fixtures and fittings as the installation progressed.
