Offices in Vauxhall

Set of offices in Vauxhall, a few minutes' walk from the station. The space was empty and the old carpet had already been pulled up, so the client was ready to go and keen to get new flooring down quickly.

The first step was a site survey, which the client asked for within the same week as their enquiry. Seeing the space in person let us confirm the measurements and check the concrete subfloor, so we could quote accurately rather than relying on rough figures. The area turned out to be bigger than first thought, at around 166m² of floor to cover.

With the old carpet already gone and the subfloor in good order, this was a straight lay of new carpet tiles across the offices. Carpet tiles are a practical choice for a commercial space like this. They are hard-wearing, quiet underfoot, and if a tile is ever damaged or stained it can be lifted and replaced on its own without disturbing the rest of the floor.

The client asked for the work to be done outside normal working hours, so our fitting team worked around that schedule. The installation took place in December 2025, and the project was signed off in January 2026.

It's a good example of a job that doesn't need to be complicated: a quick survey, an accurate quote, and a clean carpet tile installation at a time that suits the client.
