Inspiration Healthcare Group

Inspiration Healthcare Group is a medical technology company that supplies equipment for critical care, operating theatres and home healthcare. At its site in Croydon, the team needed new flooring in two areas: their quality office and the staff entrance.

The client had already bought their flooring from us and wanted it installed quickly, ideally within two to three weeks and on a Friday to keep disruption to the working week to a minimum. We quoted each area separately, as they'd asked, but planned the fitting so both could be done on the same day.

In the quality office, we laid around 27m² of Milliken Fresco carpet tiles. In the staff entrance, we fitted around 18m² of Milliken OBEX Cut entrance matting. OBEX is designed for the inside of a building's entrance, where it scrapes dirt from shoes and soaks up moisture before either gets tracked any further. For a staff door that sees traffic in all weathers, that means cleaner floors throughout and less wear on the carpet beyond it.

Neither area needed any old flooring removed, so the work went straight onto the concrete subfloor. At survey, our fitter checked the floor and carried out a moisture test to confirm no damp-proof membrane was needed. On the day, we used feather finish to smooth out any imperfections, then laid both products on Bostik A320 tackifier. That holds the tiles firmly in place but still lets individual tiles be lifted and replaced if one is ever damaged.

The installation took place on Friday 6 February 2026, as requested, and the project was signed off later that month.

It's a good example of how a small job can still benefit from a little planning. By fitting both areas in one visit, the client got a better price and only had one day of fitting to work around.
