Flooring installation: Spectrum, Solent Business Park

HoneyBee Contracts appointed DCTUK to supply and install flooring across their commercial workspace at Spectrum, Solent Business Park in Fareham, Hampshire. The 500m²+ project featured a mix of Interface carpet tiles and luxury vinyl tile from Plusfloor and Amtico, completed across two phases by our specialist installation team in early 2026.

HoneyBee Contracts appointed DCTUK to deliver a full commercial flooring installation across their workspace at Spectrum, Solent Business Park in Fareham — a 500m²+ project completed across two phases in early 2026.

The project featured a carefully considered mix of products: Interface Icebreaker Pestle and Interface Etched and Threaded carpet tiles across the majority of the space, paired with Plusfloor Diamond Panel Sorrento LVT in a straight lay and Amtico Spacia Stones in a classic herringbone pattern for key feature areas.

Extensive subfloor preparation was carried out ahead of installation, including plyboard fitting and feather finishing across the LVT areas. Our specialist team then completed the full installation — straight lay carpet tiles, glue-down LVT, and herringbone LVT — before returning for a second phase to complete additional works and finishing details.

DCTUK's installation service managed the project end-to-end, from initial site survey and subfloor preparation through to final sign-off across both stages.
