About Forbo Allura Decibel 0.8 - Blue Sky Twill 50x50cm 9567AD8
Blue Sky Twill takes the woven texture of a twill fabric and gives it a fresh, airy blue - a quiet way to bring colour into a space.
Allura Decibel is Forbo's acoustic LVT, and the 0.8 is the heavy-duty version with an extended range of colours and designs. The integrated acoustic backing cuts impact sound by 19dB, so there's no underlay to buy - and with a residual indentation of just 0.11mm, marks from heels and furniture stay virtually invisible.
The surface carries an R10 slip rating and a Bfl-s1 fire rating, and it's suitable for continuous castor chair use. It's 100% phthalate-free, with 20% recycled content and made using 100% renewable electricity - and a b+ bio-based version is available made to order.
Each tile is 50cm x 50cm, 4mm thick with a 0.8mm wear layer and four-sided bevelled edges. It's rated Class 34 heavy commercial and Class 42 light industrial, and comes in boxes of 16 covering 4m².
It's lightweight and loose lay, so installation is quick: a rolled-on tackifier (not spray) holds it in place, and a damaged tile lifts out easily if it ever needs replacing.
It's backed by Forbo's 10 year guarantee and delivered in 5-6 working days. Order a free sample to see the colour in your own light.
