About Tarkett Safetred Universal Next Generation
Safetred Universal Next Generation is Tarkett's classic safety floor, refreshed. Sixteen calm, non-directional shades - from the soft neutrals of Ceres and Nebula through to the deeper Saturn and Proteus - that sit quietly under everything else going on in a busy building.
The slip resistance comes from silicone carbide particles embedded right through the wear surface, so the PTV stays above 36 in the wet for the life of the floor rather than wearing off with the finish. R10 under EN 16165, ESf under EN 13845.
The TEKTANIUM surface treatment is the new part. It gives an ultra-matt finish that is easier to clean than the old generation, and it is DSDC accredited for dementia-friendly environments.
It comes as a 2m x 20m roll at 2mm thick, rated 34 Very Heavy for commercial use and 43 Heavy for industrial, with a 12 year professional warranty.
Installation is glue-down over a prepared subfloor, with welded seams for a fully sealed finish - which is why it works so well in healthcare, education and washroom areas.
42% recycled content, ReStart ready, phthalate free and 4.68 kg CO2e/m2 cradle to gate. Stocked in the UK, so lead times are short.
