About Interface Etched & Threaded E615 Carpet Planks
E615 is a small-scale, irregular tweed with occasional subtle stripes running through it. It's the understated member of the Etched & Threaded family, and pairs naturally with E614 in the same eight colourways.
The pile is 100% recycled solution-dyed nylon, so colours stay true and resist stains and fading, on Interface's CQuestBio backing. Total recycled content is 82.5%, embodied carbon is just 2.72kg CO2e/m², and the 27dB impact sound reduction helps keep footfall noise down.
Each plank is 25cm x 1m, 7.9mm thick with a 4.7mm pile, rated Class 33 heavy contract and Bfl-s1 for fire. It's approved for continuous castor chair use and backed by a 15 year warranty.
Interface recommends an ashlar or herringbone layout. It's also optimised for glue-free installation with TacTiles connectors. Individual planks lift out if one ever needs replacing.
