About Interface Etched & Threaded E616 Carpet Planks
E616 has the look of a woven textile, with intricate threading that reads beautifully across a large floor. It's designed to pair with the rest of the Etched & Threaded range, so you can zone a space without losing cohesion.
The pile is 100% recycled solution-dyed nylon, so colours stay true and resist stains and fading, on Interface's CQuestBio backing. Total recycled content is 82%, embodied carbon is just 2.3kg CO2e/m², and the 23dB impact sound reduction helps keep footfall noise down.
Each plank is 25cm x 1m, 6.7mm thick with a 3.1mm pile, rated Class 33 heavy contract and Bfl-s1 for fire. It's approved for continuous castor chair use and backed by a 15 year warranty.
Interface recommends an ashlar or herringbone layout. It's also optimised for glue-free installation with TacTiles connectors. Individual planks lift out if one ever needs replacing.
