About Interface Surface Matters - Under Pressure
Under Pressure has a structured woven look that brings depth and definition to a floor, with day-in, day-out reliability. It shares its twelve colourways with Pressed for Time, so the two work together seamlessly.
The pile is solution-dyed nylon with 75% recycled yarn, so colours stay true and resist stains and fading, on Interface's CQuestBio backing. Total recycled content is 80.3%, embodied carbon is just 2
.85kg CO2e/m², and the 23dB impact sound reduction helps keep footfall noise down.
Each tile is 50cm x 50cm, 6.2mm thick with a 2.8mm pile, rated Class 33 heavy contract and Bfl-s1 for fire. It's approved for continuous castor chair use and backed by a 15 year warranty.
It can be laid non-directionally, which keeps installation waste to around 1-2% and makes fitting quick. It's also optimised for glue-free installation with TacTiles connectors. Individual tiles lift out if one ever needs replacing.
