About Modulyss Grind
Grind is inspired by the winding, unpaved roads that cut through the landscape - a fine minituft in earthy hues with a flat, crisp, hard-wearing surface.
It's the minituft member of Modulyss' Handcraft family, coordinating with Leaf, Moss and Willow for textural contrast, and it holds Cradle to Cradle certification.
Under the surface it's a 5/64" minituft loop made from 100% Econyl PA6 solution dyed nylon, with a pile weight of 600g/m². It also cuts impact sound by 15dB, which helps keep busy floors that bit quieter.
It's rated Class 33 / LC1 under EN 1307 for heavy commercial use, handles office chairs on castors all day long and carries a Cfl-s1 fire rating.
Each tile is 50cm x 50cm and 5.5mm thick, packed 20 to a box (5m²). Underneath is ecoBACK, a backing designed for easy disassembly at end of life with a minimum of 75% recycled and renewable content.
Lay it monolithic, quarter-turned or in an ashlar pattern with a carpet tile tackifier, and individual tiles lift out if anything ever needs replacing. If you'd rather not fit it yourself, our nationwide fitting service can take care of it.
