About Tarkett Safetred Wood
Safety flooring that doesn't look like safety flooring. Safetred Wood brings thirteen timber designs - Chatillon Oak, Traditional Oak, Variant Oak and two Herringbone patterns - in shades running from Grey White and Natural through to Warm Brown and Anthracite.
The grip comes from aluminium oxide particles built right through the wear surface, so it holds an R10 rating and a PTV above 36 in the wet for the life of the floor, not just until the finish wears off.
Tarkett's TEKTANIUM PU surface protection gives an ultra-matt finish that resists staining and is easier to keep clean, and the range is DSDC accredited for dementia-friendly environments.
It comes on 2m x 20m rolls at 2mm thick, rated 34 Very Heavy commercial and 43 Heavy industrial, with a 12 year professional warranty. The wood designs also coordinate with Tarkett's Excellence smooth vinyl, so safety and non-safety areas can flow together.
Installation is glue-down with welded seams for a sealed, hygienic finish - ideal for care homes, schools, cafes and busy corridors - and it is suitable over underfloor heating up to 27°C.
42% recycled content, phthalate free and ReStart ready, with Safetred Next Generation stocked in the UK for short lead times.
