About Desso X Rens
Desso x Rens is a playful one: three colour-coded sets - Hopscotch, Tangram and Checkers - designed with Dutch studio Rens to be laid in diamond, diagonal or zig-zag patterns.
The idea started with re-use. The collection was developed from reclaimed carpet tiles, and the tiles themselves are made with ECONYL regenerated nylon on Desso's EcoBase backing for 63.3% recycled content.
It's a tufted loop pile that's built for commercial life, Bfl-s1 fire rated and backed by a 10 year warranty.
Each tile is 50cm x 50cm, supplied 20 to a box (5m²), so you can mix the coded tiles into your own layout.
Installation is loose-lay with a tackifier, which makes it easy to lift and swap tiles later.
Recyclable post-use through Tarkett's ReStart programme - circular from start to finish.
