1. The Contract
Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between us (Discount Carpet Tiles.Net Ltd) and you (the customer) will take place when the goods have been paid for by you and dispatched by us. Any email order confirmation or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order does not constitute legal acceptance by Discount Carpet Tiles.Net Ltd of your order. In the event that there are any errors regarding price or description we reserve the right to notify you as soon as possible and give you the option to proceed with this revised order at the correct price/description or to cancel the order. In these circumstances upon cancellation your credit/debit card will be refunded in full.
2. Price Information
All offers are subject to availability and while stocks last. All prices are shown in £ sterling and exclude V.A.T. If an administrative error has resulted in an incorrect price being displayed we reserve the right to correct that price and notify you accordingly. In these circumstances it will be deemed that a contract has not been entered into and you will not be bound to continue with your purchase. You will be asked to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed at the correct price however should you choose not to do so your monies will be refunded to your credit/debit card in full. The repayment of such monies paid to us will be the extent of our liability to you in the event of pricing errors.

3. Ordering Goods
Our online store can only accept orders from holders of credit or debit cards registered in the United Kingdom. We also only accept orders from addresses located in the United Kingdom. Discount Carpet Tiles.Net Ltd will confirm receipt of your order by sending an email to you using the address you supplied when registering with our website. This email is only an acknowledgement and does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your order. No contract will exist until payment has been received and goods have been dispatched. This will be deemed to be our acceptance of your order and to have been effectively communicated to you. The only language in which the contract can be concluded is English. We cannot be held responsible for costs occurring as a result of delayed or cancelled deliveries. All delivery timescales are given as estimates and should be taken as such. For products ordered on account the products remain the property of Discount Carpet Tiles.Net Ltd until payment is made in full. Discount Carpet Tiles.Net Ltd will retain details of your order in our database and these details can be made available on request. Please email us at email@example.com
. Due to a worldwide shortage of raw materials in 2021 some products bought online may require a surcharge retrospectively as prices are changing daily. If this is the case you will be telephoned by our team and can accept or decline to proceed with the order based on the new price.
4. Validation Checks
All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

6. Colours and Specifications
Representations of colour online are as accurate as photographic and electronic processes will allow. Please note that colour online can also be affected by the calibrations of different output devices. Samples of all our products are available and we therefore strongly recommend you request a sample for confirmation. We cannot be held responsible for the wrong choice in colour or product being made. We cannot guarantee the same colour on secondary orders due to possible batch colour differences.
7. Cancellations and returns
As a consumer under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel an order up to 14 days after receiving the products from us. If the order has been delivered in multiple deliveries then your rights extend to 14 days after the final delivery. This applies to all products on our website excluding products that are produced to your specification which would include (but is not limited to) purchases of vinyl flooring under 40m2 (cut to size) furniture products logo mats and nosings/treads. Cancellation should be made in writing by email to sales@dctukgroup or by post to DCTUK 21 Muir Road Liverpool L9 7AR. A full refund will be processed within 14 days of the date of your cancellation.
If cancellation occurs after receiving your goods then the cost of collection will be deducted from your refund. The cost of collection equals the cost of delivery paid at time of purchase plus £25.00. If free delivery was provided with your purchase then the standard delivery charge as detailed on our Delivery Rates page is applicable plus £25.00. We will arrange collection of the goods on your behalf on a day that is convenient with you no longer than 5 working days after your letter of cancellation. If you miss the collection on the date provided then a further cost of collection at the same rate as the first collection will be applicable. If the second collection attempt is missed then you will be responsible for returning the goods back to us within 14 days of your notice of cancellation at your own expense before a refund is provided. The two collection charges will be deducted from your refund. The goods must be returned unopened and in the same condition as your received them.
Should you receive goods from us that are unsatisfactory it is our responsibility to supply you with goods that meet your consumer rights. If you have concerns that we have not met our legal obligations we would encourage you to contact us. You may wish to use the European Online Dispute Resolution Platform
if you are unsatisfied with our resolution of your cancellation or complaint.
365 Day Returns
On expiration of your statutory 14 day cooling off period (14 days after you receive your order) our 365 Day Returns Policy allows you to cancel your order and exchange the goods up to 365 calendar days later. This policy applies to carpet tile products only. Get in touch with us via e-mail (email@example.com) or by phone (0345 222 1544) so we can arrange collection of the product back to us. Once received the product will be closely inspected for faults and upon passing inspection we can exchange for a different product. A 30% re-stocking fee (30% of the total order price exclusive of VAT) will apply to all cancellations plus an additional collection fee equal to the cost of delivery paid at time of purchase. If we arrange collection for the goods on an agreed date and you do not attend this collection then future collection attempts will be chargeable on top of the 30% re-stocking fee.
Terms of Service – Business Cancellations
If you have provided a company name on your order then you are excluded from the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the 14 day cooling off period. However you are still eligible to cancel your order and exchange your order for a different product under our 365 Day Returns policy (see above). This applies to carpet tiles only. We reserve the right to revoke your eligibility and inclusion into our 365 Day Returns policy depending on the circumstances.
8. Hamper Promotion
The minimum order value must be over £500.00 excluding VAT. The promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts unless written permission is given by the Managing Director. Subject to stock availability we reserve the right to withdraw this offer immediately and without prior notice should we exhaust our stock of hampers. Should the advertised hamper run out of stock we reserve the right to substitute the hamper for a different one. One hamper per customer during the course of this promotion. UK mainland billing addresses only. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with our Lowest Price Promise or Beat My Price. Should you wish to return your order under our 365 day money back guarantee you are required to return the hamper should you receive it before you cancel. Failing to do this will result in voiding the guarantee for the whole order. This does not affect your statutory rights. The contents of the hamper is provided by a third party and Discount Carpet Tiles.Net Limited do not accept responsibility for damage of the hamper in transit or for any illness that results from digesting products in the hamper. All images of the hamper displayed on marketing materials and on our website are for illustrative purposes only we do not guarantee the contents of each hamper.
9. Email and Free Delivery Promotions
All sales promotions received by email are subject to stock availability and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers available online or elsewhere. Discount codes can only be used once per person and expire 14 days from the date the email was sent. Free delivery promotions are eligible only for addresses located in the UK mainland.
10. Pallet deliveries
It is the customers responsibility to internally transfer boxes on a pallet from the exterior to the interior of the customers premises. Our delivery partners and their drivers will not usually agree to carry boxes past the entrance threshold to other parts of the building or other floors.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 your finance agreement is covered by a 14 day cancellation period.
12. Site Survey
The minimum project size for DCTUK Fitting Services is 50m2. If a site survey/measurement inspection is required and on arrival at the site survey the meterage is less than 50m2 then a £100 charge ex VAT is applicable.
13.1. DCTUK fitting is provided by third party contractors. We have a minimum charge of £480 ex VAT or £576 ex VAT. All communication regarding your project fitting order materials and deadlines (including complaints) should be made to the staff at DCTUK and not the fitting team on site.
13.2. If images are requested to provide a quotation they must show all areas of the project. If other areas become apparent when fitters arrive on-site then these will be chargeable.
13.3. When you receive your goods please check all items received and notify us immediately if you identify a problem. Your goods will be delivered through a third party courier and are ‘Kerbside’ delivery. Please ensure that you have suitable means of transporting the goods into the building as this service is not offered by the courier. It is important that a safe and secure area is allocated for storing your goods until they are installed as DCTUK holds no responsibility for items that are damaged or lost/stolen once received.
13.4. Fitting dates on a project are based on a clear working project. The finish date is an estimate and could be liable to change depending upon site conditions. If your installation is to be completed in Phases these will be agreed prior to works commencing with our Fitting Team. Any changes to agreed Phased works will need to be agreed with DCTUK and not with our third party contractors on site. All Phases need to be completed in full with an electronic satisfaction form signed before works can commence on further agreed Phases.
13.5. If you have opted for our uplift and disposal service the fitter will remove your old flooring all offcuts and packaging from your new flooring. If you have decided against opting for this service it is your responsibility to uplift your existing flooring prior to the fitter arriving. All offcuts and packaging will be left neatly for you to dispose of.
13.6. Fitters undertake their work with the necessary skill and care but sometimes marks and scuffs are unavoidable. New paintwork is especially susceptible to this and so we recommend a minimum of two weeks drying time before flooring installation. Neither DCTUK nor any contractor will be liable for redecoration works unless damage has been caused due to negligence.
13.7. If subfloor preparation is identified as being required by either our surveyor or yourself and you opt to have these works completed independently it is your responsibility to ensure that the works completed are in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions for the product and all relevant British Standards.
13.8. In the unlikely event that a product we have supplied to you is found to be faulty we will liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf to either have the product replaced or a suitable resolution found.
13.9. Prior to installation a ‘Pre Check’ is required to ensure that all goods have been received on site and that the areas having flooring installed are ready for the fitters to commence works. A DCTUK representative will call you 48 hours before the arranged fitting date to complete this. Following the ‘Pre Check’ any contactors unable to carry out works due to unsuitable site conditions missing products or requested changes to the scheduled works would require reimbursement for lost income and accommodation where necessary.
13.10. Payment is to be made upfront before the installation commences in all cases unless a delayed payment plan is agreed by the Sales Manager in writing. The following terms would then apply to payment:
a) A 50% minimum deposit is required when fitting is booked which is fully refundable unless cancellation takes place within 7 working days or later of the fitting commencement date. If moving office furniture services have not been paid for and our fitters arrive on site with the furniture still in place we will charge retrospectively the cost to move the furniture at our standard rates.
b) The balance is due on the final day of fitting once the electronic satisfaction form is signed.
c) For contractors working on behalf of a third party the remaining 50% balance to be paid on completion is subject to a credit check. If the credit check is unsuccessful then the full balance for the fitting must be paid in advance of the fitting commencement date.
13.11. When we provide design support for the floor area we cannot be held liable for any overage or shortage of tiles.
13.12. On completion of the fitting you will be asked to sign an electronic satisfaction form. Once this satisfaction form is signed any subsequent remedial work required must be reported to DCTUK within seven days of sign off via our online Remedial Submission form which will be sent to you for completion upon request. DCTUK will then liaise with the third party contractor on your behalf and arrange for the contractor to return to site within thirty days of the remedial work being reported. Any remedial work reported to DCTUK after seven days of sign off will be chargeable and payment required before the contractor returns to site.
13.13. If the fitting is deemed to be completed by DCTUK and the customer is unwilling to sign the sign off form then a third party fitter assigned and contracted by DCTUK will be sent to appraise the work within 30 working days. If the assessment by this fitter is that the work is completed then payment must be made whether or not the electronic sign off form is signed and the cost of the third party fitter will be added to the invoice balance due. If the third party fitter is in agreement with the customer and decides that the work is incomplete then DCTUK have 30 working days to complete the work. Once completed the customer will then be asked to sign the sign off form. If the customer is unwilling to sign the sign off form then the process is repeated until resolved
14. Cinema voucher Promotion
Promotion starts Monday 31st December 2018 and ends Thursday 31st January 2019 and applies to customers who order online between these dates. Minimum order value of £50 ex VAT applies. Gift card is equivalent to 1 adult entry to Odeon cinemas. Voucher is sent 14 days after delivery date of your order. Vouchers will be issued based on your billing address. If postcode is within M25 you will be able to use the gift card at national Odeon cinemas including London (with a few exceptions). If billing postcode is outside the M25 then you will not be able to use it within the M25. See Odeonvouchers.com for their own terms and conditions. 15. Sumatran Tree Campaign
If you place an order online or offline during December 2019 we will donate to the Sumatran Orangutan Society for a tree to be planted in Sumatra on your behalf. Your name will be added to the website www.moretrees.info and a link emailed to you. If you do not wish for your name to be added to the More Trees website please let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org after placing your order.
16. January Sale 2020 Gift Voucher Promotion
