Is Karndean flooring worth it?

What is Karndean flooring?

Ever heard of Karndean before? We're sure you've heard about them being one of the world's leading manufacturers of luxury vinyl tiles... no? Well, let us introduce you to the world of LVT and why Karndean are the kings of design, quality and innovation.

Available in an abundance of different designs, Karndean have designed a timeless and innovative collection of LVTs in a variety of shapes and sizes - it really is a clever and fully comprehensive collection of floors.

Is Karndean worth the money?

Yes Karndean is a lot more expensive than other brands we have on our website BUT the design and quality of a Karndean floor is spectacular. They aim to create “simply beautiful floors that you’ll love for a lifetime”.  Some of our personal favourites are Mountain Oak and Melbourne Slate from the Art Select wood and stone collection, Spirito Limestone from the Da Vinci stone collection and French Oak from the Van Gogh collection. Check out the benefits below to find out why they’re SO worth it.

What are the benefits of Karndean flooring?

  • Easy to clean and look after - A sweep and mop with your regular floor cleaner is all you need to keep your Karndean floor looking great.
  • Child friendly - Karndean floors offer children a safe and comfortable space to play, and parents a durable, easy-to-clean surface. It's a double win!

  • Quiet compared to other hard floors - Karndean is quieter underfoot compared to most hard flooring alternatives. No need to worry about waking anyone up when you're having a 2am dance around your kitchen.

  • K-Guard+ - Karndean use K-Guard+ surface technology for scuff and stain resistance ensuring there is no need to apply an additional surface treatment following installation. What a bonus!

  • Compatible with underfloor heating - For added warmth, Karndean is perfectly suitable for underfloor heating systems up to 27°C.
