What is the P.O.D?
The P.O.D stands for 'People of DCTUK' in which we discuss an array of topics ranging from WHO our clients are, WHERE we fit our tiles and WHAT we do! DCTUK started P.O.D as a way to build a relationship with our customers and a way to show our future customers that we are more than just a flooring company! Every week we release an episode, and each week we will get to know one of our customers or even a rando on the street who is very keen to be on camera!
DCTUK take pride in our mission: To give the best customer experience through flooring, to deliver on style and budget, and bring a smile to your face.
Which is what we instill within all of our content on our socials, the P.O.D was made to allow people to develop an understanding of our ethos as a company and also get to know who we work with and THEIR story. Who doesn't want to listen to two people chatting about their passion?
Who is Asuquo?
Asuquo started off his journey as a young man growing up in Nigeria as part of a large family, he soon moved to the UK to pursue his passion for business and develop his interest. Asuquo started from nothing and eventually built his way up, he showed resilience, patience and an intense amount of focus to be able to aid him to be the businessman he is today.
Asuquo is truly an inspiration to many young and older people, he struggled to pay for his University bills as a young student and now he is a successful and independent man who continues to strive for greatness! Something that is not easy to do, we congratulate him and his fantastic efforts.
His entrepeneurial mindset and attitude is something he should be extremely proud of and it shows just how much dedication he has put into all of his work. We are super happy for Asuquo and wish him all the best!
As a company that was built from one man, who also came from nothing, this story from Asuquo resonates with DCTUK on a powerful scale and we can appreciated the dedictaion it takes from one man to build an empire!

Why is it important to help others?
Asuquo's story is particularly important as it will tie in to a lot fo people's stories post-Covid. It is vital to remember that thiings may not have gone back to the way thye were immediately but we are slowly getting there, imporving upon communicattion with others and reaching out a little more after the tough period of time we had away from loved ones. It's important we not only look after ourselves but we look after those around us too, whether that's a work colleague or a family member, there is always someone who needs a little help.
When we talk about helping others people often assume we mean physically but this doesn't always have to be the case. Being there mentally for a person can do wonders for them, especially when they are elderly and may feel alone! Blossom Home Care are perfect advoactes for this and can encourage others to be there for their loved ones. During lockdown it was an extremely lonely time for everyone and so these next few years where we get back on our feet are vital to help each other out, Blossom Home Care work to give their client's an enjoyable and joyous life. Kudos to these guys!
