Christmas is a time for family, love, giving and most importantly being thankful for the blessings that you have in your life. However, sometimes that can all get lost in between the glitter, sparkles and the lust for this year’s must-have present. We’ve all been guilty of it at one point or another, if not each year.
This year, here at DCTUK, we’ve decided to do something different. We wanted to do something special that represents the magical season of giving and hope and, I must say, we are really excited to get started!
What are we doing?
This year during our 30% off Christmas sale, which runs from 3rd December to 25th December 2018, customers who purchase online will be able to donate 5% of their order value (ex VAT) to one of our 4 chosen charities; Mind, Age UK, Shelter and Save the Children. We have chosen these 4 amazing charities due to the challenges they represent that become more prevalent at Christmas time; mental health (Mind), loneliness amongst the elderly (Age UK), homelessness (Shelter) and children suffering in war-torn countries (Save the Children).
How do you donate?
Once you’ve added your goodies to the basket, head over to the checkout, complete your purchase, then you will be asked to select which charity you would like to donate 5% off your order value to. Every online order will also receive a free box of Lily O’Brien yummy chocolates as a thank you for supporting us and the chosen charities.
We hope that you will join us and help raise as much money as possible for these 4 wonderful charities with aims to make a difference in at least one person’s life.
