Say Whattttt?

Yes that's right we have a new product alert! It's always exciting when we have a new product come to DCTUK.com because it means we get to play with new samples and swatch books, lol. We're a sucker for a new swatch book, well Charlotte is anyway.

Back to the product! It's an all new LVT from Forbo! Introducing Forbo Enduro LVT, dryback and click!

What is it & who is it for?

Well it's a brand new LVT to the market, who doesn't love that. It's available in 20 contemporary colours, so whether you're wanting warm wood tones or the cool look of a stone design, then Forbo has it for you. My personal fave is the stone effect LVT - Light Concrete!

This LVT is suitable for residential customers as it's super light weight with a 0.3mm wear layer, however you can use this in commercial places too, just make sure it's a place where there will be less footfall.

What options do I have?

Well it comes in 2 different options! Dryback or Click!

Click = Click tiles are locked into place using a tongue-and-groove method, where tiles are securely ‘clicked’ together. No adhesive is required, making them suitable for DIY installation!

Dryback = Essentially Dryback LVT just means that it needs to be laid using adhesive. This can be a bit trickier but not to worry our fab fitters are on hand to help with any floor fittings! Click HERE to book.

Should I chose Dryback or Click?

It really is a personal choice! However I will tell you the pros and cons of each option.

As said before, Click vinyl flooring is perfect for quick and easy DIY installations, and is fitted as a floating floor. Gluedown LVT is slightly less expensive, although professional fitting is recommended. Gluedown can also be combined with feature strips to create grout-style border around each tile.

So here is a summary of what each entails.

Click LVT Flooring

  • Easy and quick to install
  • More expensive than gluedown
  • Cheaper to fit than gluedown
  • No glue needed
  • Best for DIY

Gluedown LVT Flooring

  • Cheaper product than click
  • Needs a flat subfloor for installation
  • Use feature strips to create borders
  • More expensive to fit than click
