The interest in interiors is on the rapid increase. Being an aspiring interior designer is just the norm and if you’ve recently decided to revamp your office or home you’ve probably thought about making an Instagram page purely dedicated to your rennovations (well, that’s if you haven’t actually made one already). And yes, some would call that a bit sad but I ain’t here to judge!

Back in the day, it used to be a bit of 60 Minute Makeover with Claire Sweeney that would give us our interior fix but now we’re absorbed with fantasies of #interiorgoals whether that’s scrolling through Instagram and Pinterest, watching Channel 4’s Grand Designs or visiting the the Homeware section in our favourite stores that seem like the land of dreams, we can’t escape it!

Despite all this, we still have a large proportion of people that swoon over images of spotless interiors but literally just don’t have a clue how to translate these ideas into their space. If you’re one of those people you’ll probably find yourself saying Yeah, that indigo blue couch looks great with that baby pink, fluffy cushion and that metallic gold mirror is heavenly but where the heck would I even start with that?!”. What are the Shop the Look pages?

Here at DCTUK we’ve been listening to our customers and when you ask us for something, we deliver! We know you’d like to get creative with your floor designs but don’t have the time or patience for it. That’s where we come in…

Our Shop the Look pages consist of a variety of looks from the top manufacturers such as Interface, modulyss, Desso and Forbo; you know those lovely spaces you see on their social media pages and think Come on guys, my floor would never look like that”. Well at DCTUK we never, say never (Unless the question is will we ever fall out of love with modular flooring). We take these so-called unachievable” floor designs and break it down for you so you know exactly what you would need to mimic the look in your space. We’ll even tell you how many cans of spray adhesive you’d need!

How do you use the Shop the Look pages?

We’ve made the Shop the Look pages quick and easy to use. You could literally have all you need to achieve the perfect floor design in less than 5 minutes. Honestly, try it yourself if you don’t believe me! All you have to do is select your desired look, enter the amount of tiles/planks you know you require or your meterage, we’ll give you the exact number of each product you would need, then the last thing to do is add it to your basket and head over to the checkout. You won’t even have to talk to an actual human being, because who can be bothered with that?
